One compatibility gotcha worth knowing: Toto used different roller assemblies on sliding doors built before and after 2005. The pre-2005 rollers are smaller diameter and mount with a single screw; the later ones are wider with a two-screw bracket. They are not interchangeable, and forcing a newer roller into an older track usually ends with a gouged rail. For most owners, OEM Toto hardware is the right call when the part is visible or structural. For consumables like weatherstripping and nylon glides, a quality aftermarket equivalent saves money and performs identically in Houston’s humidity.
