Tremron Fence Installation: The Houston Owner’s Guide
Tremron fence installation in Houston typically runs $3,500 to $9,000 for a complete panel-and-post system on an average residential lot, including removal of the old fence where needed. We stock Tremron-compatible concrete fence panels and posts, so most jobs are completed within 5 to 10 business days once materials are confirmed. Homeowners usually discover a problem after a storm blows loose a section, or when they notice a post leaning after months of Houston clay shifting beneath it.
Tremron manufactures precast concrete fence products designed to withstand heat, humidity, and freeze-thaw cycles better than wood or vinyl. But even Tremron fence sections fail when the footing was undersized, the posts were set without proper drainage, or the panels were dropped during an earlier install. We see it often in neighborhoods from Katy to Pearland. The panels themselves are tough. It’s usually what’s underneath them that isn’t.
One thing worth saying up front: we are an independent Houston contractor, not a Tremron dealer or affiliate. That means we can be straight with you about what’s worth fixing and what’s worth replacing, without trying to move you toward one product line.
Which Tremron Models This Applies To

Tremron’s residential concrete fence systems in the Houston market include the Homestead, Estate Wall, and Savannah panel lines, along with matching posts and caps. The most common sizes are 6-foot and 8-foot panels, with panel widths typically ranging from 72 to 96 inches depending on the series. If you’re unsure which series you have, look for a molded stamp on the back face of a panel near the bottom edge. No stamp? Measure the panel thickness: the Homestead runs about 2 inches thick, while the heavier Estate Wall panels measure closer to 3 inches.
Here’s a compatibility gotcha most Houston owners don’t know: Tremron posts from one series do not reliably accept panels from another series, even when the nominal width matches. The slot depth and shoulder profile vary slightly between molds. We have swapped in a Homestead panel beside an Estate Wall panel on a repair job, and the seam is visible from the street if you’re looking for it. For a clean run, stick with the same series throughout.
OEM Tremron panels are the safest choice for matching an existing fence. Quality aftermarket equivalents exist and can save 15 to 20 percent, but color matching is less predictable because precast concrete cures differently from batch to batch and weathers over time. A new panel next to a five-year-old panel will look different no matter what. We tell homeowners that up front so the expectation is set before the first section is lifted.

Signs Your Tremron Fence Installation Is Failing
- A post leans but the panel looks fine. The footing is shifting or was poured too shallow for Houston’s expansive clay soils. The panel is almost never the culprit here; the base below grade is moving with every wet-dry cycle.
- Panels have hairline cracks spreading from a corner. This points to uneven settling or a panel that was dropped or forced during original installation. Once a crack opens to about an eighth of an inch, water gets in and freeze-thaw cycles in winter widen it further.
- You can rock a panel by hand. The panel has come loose from the post slot, usually because the grout or shim pack has degraded. Left alone, wind load during a storm will work it free entirely.
- Visible rust stains running down from a post base. The internal rebar or mounting hardware is corroding inside the concrete. This is more common in Houston than people expect, given the humidity and occasional salt air pushed inland from the Gulf.
- A section shifted after heavy rain. Houston’s clay soils expand dramatically when saturated. If the fence was installed without a deep enough footing or proper gravel base below the post, the whole section can heave upward or pull apart after a few days of rain.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

For a full Tremron-compatible fence installation in Houston, the installed price range is $3,500 to $9,000. That range reflects the panel count, total linear footage, whether we’re pulling out and hauling away an old concrete fence, and access to the work area. A shorter 40-foot run with clean access and no removal stays on the lower end. A 150-foot run with an old fence to demolish and a side gate to match will land near the top.
What’s included: removal and disposal of the old fence where needed, new footings dug to the correct depth for Houston soil conditions (we go below the active clay zone), gravel base under every post for drainage, panels set and leveled, and a written warranty on the installation itself. We give you a written price before any work starts, with each line item spelled out, because that’s how we operate under The Kingswell Way. The number on day one is the number on the invoice.
If the fence shifts or a panel comes loose during the first 365 days, our 365-Day Done Right Promise covers the fix. We come back and make it right at no charge. That promise is in writing on every project we do.
DIY or Call Us?
Concrete fence panels are heavy. A 6-foot Tremron-style panel can weigh between 250 and 400 pounds depending on the series, and setting one wrong can cause a crush injury or a dropped panel that cracks on impact. We do not recommend homeowners attempt panel removal or post extraction on their own. The risk isn’t the panel falling on your foot so much as a panel that slips mid-lift and takes down the section next to it, doubling the job.
What you can safely do is inspect. Walk the fence line after a heavy rain and look for new gaps between panel and post, fresh cracks, or posts that are no longer plumb. Note where the grade has settled. That information helps us quote the job accurately over the phone before we even come out. FAQs

A properly installed Tremron concrete fence in Houston lasts 25 to 40 years, but the footings usually fail before the panels do. The panel itself will survive the full lifespan if the base below it was done right. Call (254) 527-5340 if you suspect your footing is moving.
Hairline cracks can often be sealed and structurally reinforced with the right epoxy and backing technique, but a crack that runs through the full thickness or has opened more than an eighth of an inch usually means panel replacement is the better route. For a firm recommendation, we’ll come look in person and give you a written price before any work begins.
A typical 60- to 100-foot run takes 3 to 7 working days from footing excavation to final panel setting, assuming access is clear and the weather cooperates. Larger jobs or fence runs with a gate take a bit longer. We’ll give you a real arrival window and a written schedule before the crew starts.
We source Tremron-compatible panels and posts through local Houston suppliers and handle the ordering, delivery coordination, and material verification for you. We also work with owners who already have materials on site. Call (254) 527-5340 and we’ll sort out exactly what you have and what still needs to be ordered.
If your fence is leaning, cracked, or coming apart at the seams, the sooner we look at it, the fewer sections you’ll likely need to replace. Call (254) 527-5340 today to schedule your free estimate. We’ll put the price in writing, show up when we say we will, and stand behind the work for a full year.
